Weed Control

We deal with weeds directly and indirectly. Directly, we apply a preventer that is derived from corn and is used in food. We also pull weeds, boil them with steam, and as a last resort, we use natural products that are safe for your children and pets. We NEVER use synthetic chemicals. Indirectly, we choke weeds out with a healthy lawn.

We nurture the microbes in your soil because healthy microbes = a healthy, durable lawn. That means you spend less on water and you get to enjoy a more drought and heat tolerant lawn that can be walked on. Go ahead. Stay ON the grass!

Fertilizer

Our fertilizers are naturally derived, the way nature intended. We do not use manure-based fertilizers. These products cannot burn your lawn and are immediately safe for your children and pets to enter the lawn after treatment.

Our Process

Early Spring: Weed preventer, microbe food.

Mid-Spring: Weed preventer.

Early Summer: Fertilizer, microbe food, weed treatment.

Mid Summer: Microbe food, weed treatment.

Late Summer: Treat for conditions, microbe food.

Fall: Aerate, overseed, fertilizer.

Early Winter: Lime, fertilizer, cleanup (to keep leaves and debris from smothering the grass)

 Mid-Winter: Debris cleanup.
