About Uncle Onion's Electric, Organic Lawn Care

Uncle Onion’s Lawn Care, LLC, aka Uncle Onion’s Electric, Organic Lawn Care, is a forward thinking, progressive lawn care company. We are a small, family operated business with big goals that involve fast growth. All of our equipment is battery powered, even our vans, because we believe people deserve the right to live and work in a clean environment that is free from air, water, ground, and noise pollution.

Our commitment to our clients is to provide a no-hassle, worry-free experience with our services.

Our commitment to our employees is to provide a safe, respectful workplace for all. We promise to reward hard work with bonuses, training, education opportunities, and mentoring to help you further your own goals.  

The part-time employee package includes: ​

• Flexible time off for verifiable illness. Don't come to work sick, we'll take care of you.

• Company provides PPE (gloves, mask, eye protection, hi-vis vest), hat, shirts, raincoat, and jacket (if needed).

• Stipend for the purchase of boots, belt, and pants.

• Lawn service crews drive an EV company van, no trailers to pull. The van's name is Van Mowerson. 

• Gardening crews ride in a company vehicle with the Lead Gardener or Gardening Supervisor. 

• Flexible schedule.

• Comprehensive 50 hour paid training on all job duties. Don't worry about driving the van or operating a zero turn mower for the first time, Uncle Onion has confidence in you! Plus, we'll teach you how. 

• Opportunities for education, further training, and certifications. 

• Career development through training and promotions within the company. This is a great time to get onboard since we are growing fast and management positions are opening quickly. 

• All electric equipment, so no smelly fumes, less vibrations, quieter, less fatigue.

• And winters off!

Additionally, our all-electric lawn equipment prevents our employees being exposed to the amount of noise and vibrations as gas, with absolutely zero fumes to inhale. We are researching an organic lawn care program that will be safer for employees and the environment than traditional lawn care treatments. Keeping our employees safe, comfortable, and happy is our top priority.

Your first two weeks with Uncle Onion’s will consist of a rigorous training program (Fully paid!). No experience necessary for most positions, we train every new employee regardless of experience.
